Great spot to hold kid AND adult parties! Not just a bowling alley, but arcade video games, pool tables, etc. Coffee shop to order food & drinks, plus a bar for liquid refreshments. Clean bathrooms.

Really fun place to go with your family

They stole my shoe for some reason, saying they only needed it for a minute. I didn’t push it and decided to bowl, hopping back on one shoe to the front. I ask for it back and they snap at me, saying. “Can you just wait a minute?” I already gave back the shoes and they didn’t say anything to me. I was worried I wouldn’t get it back. They also shouted at my dad for his shoe size in a ticked off manner, when he had his bowling shoes already on the counter. The bowling was subpar too, music was loud, and there was barely any ball choice. It was pretty expensive as well. I wouldn’t go back there.

On certain days at certain times $1.50 a game I know Friday 9am to 6pm

I love Albany Bowl! My family and I go quite a few times throughout the year mainly during the summer. The staff is really cool. It's also a great fun place for kids to be able to go late night. You can bowl a game and get shoes for under $11. Food has gotten a lot better. I'll even throw my daughter's birthday party here before. There's tons of parking in the parking lot directly behind the building. Their security on staff at all time which is great. There's a bar in the back where the parents can go have a cocktail while your kids are either playing in the arcade or bowling a couple rounds. They even have free bowling programs for kids during the summer. Definitely a go-to spot for family night.

Fun, silly place for a company holiday party, good beer, pizza needs a few more options, but will be back!

Super fun spontaneous night great night

We went here for a children's birthday party. It was a nice change from typical venues, and my daughter, who is 5 enjoyed running around and exploring the arcade games and other fun things they have scattered about. I wasn't 100% comfortable leaving my child unattended because there are multiple exits and lots of people flowing in and out... plus adult beverages are served etc etc. I was running around a lot so it's not they place to offload your kid while you have a few and toss the ball. but fun.

Albany bowling has been my favorite for years. Their place is clean. Old fashioned and the prices have remained awesome through the years. Also they did a birthday party for my nephew almost 25 years ago and the service was awesome even then.

Best run bowling alley in all of the East bay! This place gets PACKED during the nights so I usually bowl Thursday and Friday mornings when they have cheap games and no crowds!

The atmosphere was amazing the place was super clean and the staff was helpful. The food was really good and everything was at a great price!!

My absolute favorite place to bowl. Great bowling lanes, good selection of bowling balls. Cute little arcade. Has a pro shop. You can almost always spot amazing bowlers there--so good they can get strikes bowling backward through their legs. Seems like a lot of league bowlers go here. It's great to watch and learn from them. There's also a great cafe for food that hits the spot if you're tipsy (very greasy, typical bowling fare). There's also a bar. The arcade has competitive basket ball hoops, air hockey, crane machines, billiards, and more! Extremely friendly staff. If you like bowling you gotta go play a game at Albany Bowl. Make sure to go at night for their fun lights.

Great bowling joint. Awesome for families.

My party was met with a very rude person in reception. He was very grumpy and did not seem to want to be there. Our two lanes were malfunctioning and did tally the points properly. We stopped half way and asked for a refund but they unfortunately only gave us a partial refund. We went on 2/14/20. I would not recommend going here but instead going to a better bowling alley like castro valley bowl.

The food selection and service were good. Actual food is decent. The lanes were clean and worked properly. We enjoyed our visit and would return.

I've been coming here since I was 19. This place is a local hot spot for all ages, and offer a great alcohol selection and is close to several restaurants, and will be opening a small cafe soon. There also a small idenpendent pro shop in the back of the billiards room. It also has a decent sized arcade and a bar with darts in the back. I defiantly recommend this place as a hang out spot.

Active relaxation for the whole family. It's much more expensive at weekends than on weekdays. It is also suitable for organizing children's celebrations and birthdays.

I have not been bowling in YEARS, but in October my family and I went for my grandson's birthday, and when I say we had a BALL !!! we truly had a ball. So much fun, and the gentleman at the counter was very nice. My only concern is right at the entrance ( which leads to the street ) there are some games for young children, it would be nice to move that from the door, I feel like its a kidnapping waiting to happen, or for some small child to wander off to the main street ( San Pablo) other than that I really enjoyed myself.

Super fun for the family. You can set your lane up so the bumpers automatically go up for the kids and back down for the adults. It was pretty busy when we went, but we got a lane right away and had a great time. Kids played some arcade games after bowling and overall it was a super fun time.

Albany bowl is ALWAYS the bomb. The restaurant NOT soooo good EVER! They've upgraded their system. I absolutely love the new system. Fun, fun, fun, and more fun. Did I mention the billiards, yaaasss pool tables. 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾👍🏾.

Nice place to go wiht the whole family

Great place! Staff is polite, friendly and generous. Some friends and I played two games on a weekday afternoon andbasically had the whole place to ourselves. It is clean and welcoming and has a bar and cafe. When these are closed, there are vending machines for back-up. Located near the renowned taco truck at Hotsy Totsy. Can't wait to go back, an enjoyable time for sure :)

This was 1 of the best bowling alley's ever!!!!!Had soooooooo much fun with friends and family!! I've been to 2 others, but there is no comparison.Can't wait to go again!!!And the food was AWESOME! Just like the employees👍👍👍👍!!!!

Played some fun games with my brother here. A little expensive ($36 for 2 games for 2 people) but still worth it

This place has become very family friendly. In the 70s and 80s it was pretty much a dump.

The staff was ok, the equipment is up to date and they have $1.50 games Mon and Tue night as well as Thur and Fri afternoon...you can't beat it with a stick

I'd give this place 5 stars for the bowling experience, but am giving them 1 star for the customer service. I love this bowling alley but we had a bad experience where the cashier didn't ring us up for the right amount of games and we didn't know it until our game shut off in the middle. I went to the counter to try to figure it out and they wouldn't fix it basically telling me it was my fault for not catching her error. We ultimately ended up leaving in the middle of a game. As a result we had 2 upset kids.

It's fun, the acrade is fun, and it's pretty great. The bathroom smelled bad though, but other than that it was great.
